Although she loved the candy, she was even more fascinated by the art of the sale and the thrill of counting her earnings. Once other parents took notice and raised concerns, she had to pause her candy business. But her entrepreneurial fire kept burning.
She moved on to sell roses on holidays like Teacher’s Appreciation Day and Mother’s Day, and even sold fresh guacamole on the streets of Lincoln Road. Sales came naturally to her, and she thrived on creating value for others through win-win exchanges.

Growing up watching her mother, Laura Roxana Garcia, work as a real estate leader left a deep impression on Paola. As a child, she often played the role of her mom’s assistant, attending meetings and soaking up the energy of negotiations and deal-making.
